are two 440-ton Aida variable speed punch presses. These punch presses
allow for greater control of the forming process and feature large work
beds for multiple tooling setups required for some parts or extremely
large parts. Tempco has also added a 12-foot Cincinnati CNC press brake
that also enables operators to fabricate very long parts or utilize
multiple tools in a single setup. The company’s addition of new CNC
Cincinnati and Accu-Cut shears facilitate fast, highly repeatable, high
precision, automated metal cutting.
Five new SpeedyCut multi-spindle tapping machines and five new Clausing
multi-spindle drills give Tempco faster, easier hole drilling,
countersinking, and tapping capabilities. The company has also added a
CNC surface grinder for high precision, high-speed material grinding
and multiple TimeSaver machines to sand and put a straight-line finish
on completed parts.
These latest equipment additions to Tempco’s manufacturing facility are
part of the company’s continuous process of improvement. The company
has allocated a minimum of $1 million per year for new equipment and
